1. Analysis of the source of temperature rise:


- Copper loss: When the motor stator winding is powered on, it will generate I^2R loss, which is the main source of temperature rise of shaded-pole motors. The greater the winding resistance, the greater the copper loss.


- Iron loss: The stator and rotor cores will generate eddy current and hysteresis losses under the rotating magnetic field, which will also cause temperature rise. The worse the conductivity and magnetic properties of the core material, the greater the iron loss.


- Mechanical loss: Friction loss of mechanical parts such as bearings and fans will also cause temperature rise. Bearing wear and low fan efficiency will increase mechanical loss.


2. Measurement and monitoring of temperature rise:


- Commonly used measurement methods include direct measurement methods such as thermocouples and thermal resistors, as well as indirect measurement methods using thermistors.


- Temperature sensors are installed at key locations such as the end of the stator winding and the bearing to monitor temperature changes in real time, providing a basis for subsequent optimization.


3. Temperature rise control measures:


- Optimize winding design: Rationally select parameters such as wire cross-sectional area and winding method to reduce copper loss.


- Improve core material: Use low-loss silicon steel sheets or amorphous alloys to reduce iron loss.


- Optimize structural design: Rationally arrange heat dissipation channels and increase heat dissipation area, which is conducive to heat dissipation.


- Enhance forced ventilation: Use a higher-power blower or fan to strengthen forced ventilation and cooling.


- Use temperature monitoring: Install temperature sensors at key locations to monitor temperature changes in real time.


- Reasonably set downtime: Rationally arrange the load working time and downtime of the motor according to process requirements.


4. Temperature rise design standards:


- The temperature rise design of shaded-pole motors needs to comply with relevant standards, such as GB/T 1032, to meet the requirements of product use environment and application occasions.


- For different insulation levels, the maximum allowable temperature rise is also different. Generally speaking, the higher the insulation level, the higher the allowable temperature rise.


In general, the control of shaded-pole motor temperature rise needs to be approached from multiple angles, including loss analysis, temperature measurement, structural optimization, forced ventilation, etc., to ensure the reliable operation of the motor under specified working conditions.
